Day 1: Arrive in Ulaanbaatar
Your driver will greet you at the airport and transfer you to a centrally located hotel. Free day to refresh and leisurely discover the city while staying in a good location hotel.

Day 2: Khukh Nuur (Darkblue Lake) where Temuujin was entitled as Genghis Khaan
Start the journey to Khar Zurkhnii Khukh Nuur Lake, where Temuujin (childhood name of Genghis/Chinggis Khan) spent his childhood tending his eight bay horses and later entitled Genghis Khan in 1189. Khar Zurkhnii Khukh Nuur is a small beautiful lake that lies in a transition zone from the Siberian Taiga to mountain steppes. There was a 15-meter diameter circular trace on the lake's southern shore. Researchers believe it remained from the king’s ger. You will see a statue dedicated to Genghis Khan and woodcarvings featuring the golden generations of the king, his queen, and his mother. On your way to the lake, you will see a 40-m-tall statue of Genghis Khan on horseback. The statue is the tallest statue of an equestrian in the world.

Day 3: Visit Baldanbereve Monastery
Baldanbereven was one of the largest monasteries in Mongolia, built in a scenic place. It had 20 temples and 4 religious institutes housed by 5000-6000 monks at the beginning of the 19th century. During the 1930s socialist purge, the temples were destroyed, and monks were jailed and sent to labor camps in Siberia. Now, the religious functions take place in the restored main temple. In the area where the Baldanbereeven Monastery is, Genghis Khan battled against several tribes. You will visit Baldanbereeven Monastery and discover the ruins and remains involves a vast area, except for exploring beautiful drawings of Buddhas on the rock.

Day 4: Explore Uglugch Wall
We will continue the trip to Uglugch Wall. Archeological surveys revealed the numerous tombs within the stone wall belong to different historical periods and of important noble people. Along the way, you will explore deer stones and Rashaan Khad rock drawings.

Day 5: Deluun Boldog, Genghis Khaan's birthplace
Drive to Genghis Khan's birthplace Deluun Boldog at the junction of the Onon and the Balj Rivers. Historians agreed that Genghis Khan was born in this attractive wooded area in 1162 after years of research and dispute. For the 800th anniversary of the birth, a statue of the king was erected at the nearby Gurban Lake's shore in 1962. Spend the afternoon exploring the historical sites.

Day 6: Khuduu Aral plain and Mongolian Secret History Statue
Today you travel to the historically valuable site Khuduu Aral, where archeologists revealed an ancient city ruin and later proved it was one of Genghis Khan’s Palace, after repeated research. Several Ikh Khuraldai (meetings of the kings and noblemen from Genghis Khan’s golden generation) took place, and Ugudei, Munkh, and Yusuntomor kings were throned in Khuduu Aral. At Khuduu Aral, you will see a 4 m tall statue dedicated to the Secret History of Mongols chronicle book, visit a museum displaying relics discovered from the Aurag Ord Palace, see small lakes, and taste Ugudei Khan spring water.

Day 7: Return to Ulaanbaatar
Today is the last day you will spend in the beautiful countryside and meet hospitable locals. Arrive in Ulaanbaatar and check in at a hotel.
